Role: Agile Coach
Location: Louisville, KY (Permanent remote)

Description:
- The perfect candidate we are seeking teaches, facilitates, collaborates and mentors teams on all things Agile, helping to bring best practices into the organization.
- Individual Contributor that coordinates and coaches teams within the SAFe framework which will include agile methodologies: Scrum and Kanban, and lean portfolio management.
- Provides knowledge and expertise around Lean Agile processes while coaching key roles in the organization to be self-sufficient in day-to-day operations and practices and also coaches for enterprise-wide agile initiatives.
Agile:
- Leads large scale Agile transformations and complex Agile delivery. Partners with key stakeholders and senior leadership in constructing the foundation necessary for transforming from a waterfall or partial scrum framework to a Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise.
- Partners closely with roles such as Portfolio Leads, Product Management, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to establish lean agile routines and practices that include but are not limited to: Kanban management, Scaled Agile Value Stream Mapping, Train Program Increment planning and execution as well as insight into Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, DevOps and automation.
Relationship and People Management:
- Helps the team work together efficiently to achieve a common goal. Demonstrate appreciation of the depths of agile practices and principles and helps the teams appreciate them.
- Teaches, mentors and coaches teams in Agile practices while building a culture where Agile teams can thrive.
- Trains leaders and teams at all levels of the organization to set Agile strategy, and help them understand and articulate the benefits of working Agile.
- Creates and drives a work environment with focus on continuous improvement, broad collaboration and alignment between teams and stakeholders.
- Aims to both transfer their knowledge and enthuse team members to try new approaches and techniques.
Required:
Agile Coach & Mentor Skills:
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a passion for teaching and mentoring others and has experience in coaching Agile.
- Experience in coaching and training within the agile framework (portfolio, program, and team).
- Believes in and thrives in a culture of collaboration, transparency and trust across team.
- Experience in facilitation, training and public speaking.
- Experience in coaching and demonstrating facilitation of core agile practices including but not limited to: Kanban, Value stream mapping, Feature and story backlog prioritization and grooming, Release planning (Program Increment), Iteration/Sprint planning, Metrics (at all levels), Story distribution practices including estimation, Agile ceremonies (Scaled agile framework at all levels).
- Skillful knowledge of product lifecycle processes and deliverables.
- Must have deep knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework, Lean, and Product Development Flow principles in their enterprise context.
- SAFe SPC certification and experience leading agile transformation
- Scrum Master certified (CSM) and experience
- Experience with large scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise organizations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize and relate with those new to the Agile methodology
- Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle and Agile Management tools
Preferred:
- PROSCI certification and experience with change management
