Overview:

The CDL Delivery Driver for Route Sales is key to our success, providing exceptional customer service to residential, commercial, and retail clients while driving growth through sales efforts. This role is highly interactive and requires the safe operation of a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).

Reporting Location: Amarillo, Tx

Compensation: $21/hour + customer tips

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Saturdays based on business needs)

Start Time: 12pm until workload completion

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Focus: Operate a commercial vehicle safely, follow work practices, and complete daily DOT documentation. Adhere to safety policies, including the prohibition of electronic device use while driving, and report any incidents or changes in driving status.
• Service Orientation: Maintain a courteous and professional image; deliver the correct products to customers as scheduled, and manage delivery information. Collaborate with your team to find efficiencies and actionable solutions.
• Selling Skills: Follow pricing and promotional guidelines while identifying upselling opportunities to increase product sales and customer acquisition.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to secure/maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement (we can assist you in obtaining this).
• Strong service orientation and face-to-face sales skills.
• Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions.
• Proven ability to lift and carry over 250 units daily, each weighing up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to work an average of 45 hours or more weekly with varying start/end times.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card to work with us.
• Possess a clean driving record, meeting our specified criteria.
• Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement).
