Remote Overhead Crane Operator
M-F $16-19 per hour
Summary of Responsibilities: This position will be setting up, adjusting and operating the remote
overhead crane to move material throughout the designated area as assigned.
Specific Duties:
o Set up, adjust and operate crane equipment safely.
o Reports abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision.
o Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly.
o Pay attention to continuous traffic of co-workers and tow motors moving throughout the shop.
o Moving raw materials such as steel plates, cut parts, and parts/material from outside shop.
Job Requirements:
o Reliable/Dependable
o Strong Mathematical Aptitude.
o Strong Hand-Eye Coordination
o Open minded and willing to learn company process.
o Willingness to work any shift.
o Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor.
o Experience with plate hooks and magnets is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
o The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
o The ability to see and respond to dangerous situation.
o The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
o The ability to stand continuously throughout the duration of the shift.
o The ability to withstand working in varying temperatures.
o The ability to lift 70 lbs
