REPORTS TO: Compliance Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY: Execute foreign trade operations with a high level of specialization within the Mexico-U.S. regulatory framework, ensuring customs compliance, accurate application of international trade agreements, and precise document control. Serve as a key liaison between clients, customs brokers, carriers, and the warehouse to ensure efficient, discrepancy-free operations in accordance with SAT and CBP requirements. Responsible for customer service, inventory reconciliations (Annex 24), document validation, and the closure of both virtual and physical operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute and closely monitor import/export operations (Mexico and U.S.)
- Validate customs documents: entry summaries, invoices, certificates of origin, and manifests
- Apply regulatory compliance criteria (IMMEX, CTPAT, USMCA, etc.)
- Participate in process improvement projects related to foreign trade.
- Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies related to Annex 24.
- Document and report unusual, high-risk, or non-compliant activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to foreign trade.
- Generate compliance and technical reports for relevant departments
- Collaborate with finance for service billing.
- Participates in the team meetings and departmental training sessions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, experience, certification): - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in logistics, international trade, or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish Required
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Technical understanding of international commerce
- Understanding of Customs compliance and use of regulatory platforms (VUCEM,SAT, ACE)
- Ability to communicate effectively both, orally and in writing.
- Confidence in speaking to new people/clients and making presentations
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
- For position based in U.S., bi-lingual, English-Spanish is required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: This position offers the opportunity to earn a quarterly performance-based bonus on top of base salary. The bonus is awarded based on the quality of work, process, and safety adherence.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Subject to work under changing weather conditions. May be subject to moderate noise levels and work outside of the building. A high level of flexibility may be required; must be willing to be on-call or report to work after regular work hours.
