Job Title: Production Operator

Pay: $24.56/hr

Shifts Available:

6pm-6am rotating schedule

3pm-11pm Monday-Friday

*Please note: all new hires are required to train on 1st shift for 4-5 weeks*

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team in the Packing/Processing area of our manufacturing plant. This role involves setup and operation of production machinery, and machine troubleshooting as needed. The environment is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, safety, and teamwork. There is an in-depth training process, but prior manufacturing or construction experience generally preferred. Please apply if interested and we will reach out with additional information.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit down forklifts and move materials.
• Lift and handle materials weighing 20-50 pounds, ensuring accurate counts and placements.
• Perform repetitive lifting and motions across different workstations.
• Conduct basic data entry and maintain accurate records of material counts and pallet movements.
• Monitor and manage various workstations
• Oversee robots, attend to alarms, and load pallets of material into machines.
• Ensure products are properly finished, stacked, and prepared for shipping.

Essential Skills

• Industrial machine operation
• Experience operating sit down forklifts.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• Basic math skills for counting bricks and pallets.
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds repeatedly.
• Strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

Work Environment

The work environment includes areas that can reach up to 120 degrees, but workstations are equipped with AC units maintaining around 70 degrees. The plant is relatively clean, can be loud at times, but ear protection is not required. Dress code includes long pants and t-shirts, with provided uniforms being optional.
