Role The Salesforce Administrator will collaborate closely with functional leaders, business units, and subject matter experts to design, implement, and optimize new business processes. This versatile role blends aspects of technical project management, advanced administration, and Salesforce analytics. The Salesforce Administrator oversees the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce CRM platform, ensuring its efficiency and alignment with business needs. While we prefer the Salesforce Administrator to be based in one of our 43 local offices, we are open to considering remote candidates for the right fit. Responsibilities Develops tailored solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions, align with project objectives, meet business unit needs, and achieve company goals Performs essential administrative functions, including user maintenance, page layout modifications, report and dashboard generation, field creation, and other routine tasks Automates workflows and processes using Salesforce tools such as Process Builder, Approval Processes, Validation Rules, and Flows Manages Salesforce integrations not handled by a Developer or Consultant/Partner Identifies, installs, and maintains relevant Salesforce applications Identifies opportunities for process improvement, proposes solutions, and recommends best approaches Follows a structured change management process to develop and implement new processes, as well as updates to existing ones, including creating user documentation and technical reference materials for training and future reference Logs, tracks, and resolves system issues promptly Builds and maintains strong relationships with business units and subject matter experts to stay informed on strategic direction, project status, architectural/technology challenges, and functional/integration issues Continuously seeks opportunities to leverage Salesforce to improve processes, enhance productivity, and scale operations, making recommendations to support rapid organizational growth Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner Upholds Company policies and procedures Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public Other related job duties as assigned Qualifications Strong independent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to timely follow-up and exceptional customer service Demonstrated work ethic, personal drive, and the ability to overcome challenges Ability to build and cultivate key relationships across the organization Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting issues and recommending process improvements Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage tasks independently Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Skilled at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects with minimal supervision Proactive in taking initiative to complete assignments and responsibilities Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Education and Experience BS/BA degree from a four-year accredited university or college preferred High School diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience Salesforce Administrator certification with 4+ years of hands-on experience Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator on Salesforce.com Experience with Salesforce Community Cloud is a plus Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Salesforce Einstein Analytics is a plus Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database schema Experience working within the development lifecycle, including change management, testing, and deploying code from sandboxes to production Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred Physical Requirements Continuously able to work in office environment Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day Occasionally able to lift up to 15 Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching Rarely requires climbing Ability to travel on occasion Other requirements: May be required to use personal smartphone with a camera capable of reading a QR code for 2 factor authentication Nex-Tech
