Job Description:We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 10-15 years of expertise to join our team in New Jersey (Onsite) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of SAP systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain SAP environments, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications .
Perform SAP installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management .
Monitor system performance, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation.
Implement and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations .
Manage SAP system backups, disaster recovery planning, and high availability configurations.
Coordinate with infrastructure teams for OS, database, and network support.
Handle transport management , system refreshes, and client copies.
Provide technical support for SAP landscapes, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Work with functional teams to support SAP modules integration and performance optimization .
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and security guidelines .
10-15 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager .
Experience with SAP HANA database administration and performance tuning.
Knowledge of OS (Linux/Windows) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) .
Hands-on experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) .
Expertise in SAP security, transport management, and backup strategies .
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in an onsite role in New Jersey.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
