Job Title: Senior GRC Analyst (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) - No C2C

Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6-month contract

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

Worksite Preference: Deerfield preferred; downtown location available

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / IT Analyst to support and strengthen IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) functions within a large enterprise technology environment.

This role plays a critical part in helping the organization maintain alignment with regulatory standards such as HIPAA , PCI-DSS , and HITRUST , while also contributing to the development and management of comprehensive IT compliance programs.

Ideal candidates will bring a blend of technical knowledge, analytical capabilities, and stakeholder engagement skills to evaluate controls, recommend improvements, and support enterprise-wide compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and management of IT compliance programs
• Assess and evaluate IT control environments to identify gaps and propose remediation plans
• Create and execute detailed IT control testing procedures
• Analyze IT processes to determine control effectiveness and identify areas of risk
• Interpret and advise on regulatory and industry standards , including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and HITRUST
• Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure compliance objectives are achieved and maintained

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, IT Security, or Cloud Security OR High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of IT control frameworks and regulatory compliance standards
• Experience performing control assessments, testing, and compliance reporting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and departments

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance frameworks
• Experience supporting external audits or certification processes
• Previous experience contributing to compliance program development or working with GRC tools
