Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Miami, FL | In-Office Role

(85K -95K + Bonus)

As a  Senior Staff Accountant , you will play a key role in ensuring  accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic accounting initiatives . You will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights and financial integrity to a high-growth organization.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\t
• Prepare and review  financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries .\n\t
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with  GAAP and internal controls .\n\t
• Perform  monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities .\n\t
• Assist with  external audits , providing supporting schedules and documentation.\n\t
• Manage  payroll processing and support tax compliance initiatives.\n\t
• Analyze  financial data and variances , providing actionable insights.\n\t
• Maintain the  integrity of financial reporting systems and processes .\n

What You Bring:

\n\t
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred .\n\t
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a preference for backgrounds in  Big 10, Big 20, or a mix of public accounting and large-company experience .\n\t
• Strong knowledge of  GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls .\n\t
• Advanced  Excel skills and experience with ERP systems .\n
