Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in TX\n \n\n \n

$1365 - $1700 or more per week - And it gets better\n \n\n \n\n

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly\n \n
• Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $27.24 per night\n \n
• Hotel Provided\n \n
• $0.70 cpm travel reimbursement (excluding first 50 miles each way)\n \n
• Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, every Quarter\n \n
• Up to $2400 bonuses\n \n
• Paid Training\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday Travel on Sundays\n \n
• Start Time: 5:00 am - 6:00 am\n \n\n \n\n

• Deliver SOLO To: TX, occasionally to OKC, LA, AR\n \n
• Route: Home Weekends\n \n
• Tractor Type: Day Cab Must be able to drive a manual\n \n
• Trailer Type: Flatbed\n \n
• 12 Months of Flatbed Experience is Required\n \n
• Equipment: Truck Mounted Forklift experience highly preferred\n \n
• Freight: Load Securement - Strapping\n \n\n \n\n

Trucks include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.\n \n\n \n

Requirements \n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Minimum 21 years of age\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:\n \n\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR \n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR \n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years\n \n\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures\n \n\n \n\n

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.\n \n\n \n

Responsibilities \n \n\n \n\n

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned\n \n\n \n\n
